Good luck, and hang in there!
Step one: Do not work with any debt company or collection agency

Step two: follow step one

Step three: Work with the original creditor only!!!

Step Four : follow step one and three

If you own a home get a second mortgage and pay off all your debt....good luck
DONT cut the cards up and cancel the accounts. the more accounts of credit you have the length they have been opened and how much the credit limits are on each card highers your credit score.

closing accounts shows you cant handle a lot of credit cards and may make you look unresponsible with your money. the more accounts you have open and the different kinds the better.

if you get a loan and pay off all your cards and just pay one monthly payment you credit score will go up and there will be no need to close accounts which may negatively impact your credit score since you have less money available credit card wise in your name.
