Generally yes, but sometimes a second opinion can't hurt.Do you trust the advice of your chemist or pharmacist?
Yes, because the pharmacy that I go to, is one where the pharmacists are
Vietnamese Americans. And we all know how they dominate academics, because they're smart.
So I trust their advice. I just don't know if I trust the pharmaceutical companies as much. Not that they're dumb, but that they're greedy !
My sister got a operation on her foot, and the pharmaceutical they gave her, gave her a heart attack, could have easily killed her. There's something wrong with that.
And she's an R.N.Do you trust the advice of your chemist or pharmacist?
Without question,he is a small local chemist and his advice and help are second to none. Can,t say the same about big money making chainstore chemists like Boots.I count myself lucky if I can buy a strip of asprins without being interrogated as to why I want them, how many I intend to take, have I taken them before,e.t.c.and no,I don,t think that is being caring or concerned,it,s just to cover their backs in case someone overdoses and they get sued.
Yes of course i do.
Not after he was on the phone to some woman telling her how happy he was that she had broken up with her boyfriend, and he would 'be honoured' to take her out.... In this insipid voice, doing a fake laugh every know and again! He is so pervy and disgusting, and i think he got his qualification off the Internet.
They help me out way more than my Doctor ever would
They right then and there give you your medication
Aswell as explain the side effects, the benefits the doubts all to
you.
Doctors mainly just listen to what is wrong and then give you medication and dont explain anything.
When it comes to medication they are great.
I AM my own pharmacist.
in general. but i always try and research myself and get second opinions particularly because i prefer to use natural or homeopathic remedies rather than chemicals where possible.
more so than my doctor. i recently spoke to a boots pharmacist and he was amazing - he gave me more info in 5 minutes than a doctor has given me over 5 years!
Yes I would rather see him than the doctor!
Nope, or my doctor!! My doctor prescribed medicine for my four month old and after research I discovered that in the UK no child under 3 should be prescribed it!! The pharmacist also said it was OK, I'm fuming. I'm in Greece and double check EVERYTHING now!!
yes
For most common illnesses or injuries, yes I would - but I would prefer to ask for advice in private and this isn't always possible.
yes they are spot on.
Yes - their training is actually longer than that of a doctor.
