Ladies I need your advice!! Should I trust the strip OPK or digital?

I have been using the strip OPK's all week. I finally got a positive (both lines were equal in color) this morning. I used the same urine (I do the dip in a cup test) and used a digial and it was negative. Should I trust the line test of the digital? We are trying for a boy so I want to time BD close to ovulation as possible. Any advice will be appreciated.Ladies I need your advice!! Should I trust the strip OPK or digital?
Go to your doctor? Why would anyone on yahoo know?Ladies I need your advice!! Should I trust the strip OPK or digital?
if you used first moring urine, i would say no as HCG is always in your system...the digital opks are more correct to me i think so i would rely on that good luck
Underneath all the newfangled casing (which along with expensive ads is what you're really paying for) is a simple strip, just like the other one you have. Don't believe me? Take it apart and see. All the digital test does is read the results for you. Instead of lines you have words or silly smiley faces. The reason your digital said negative is because the line probably wasn't as dark as it should be and so the test didn't read it as a positive.

Secondly that stuff about having sex at a certain time to get a certain gender is a myth. And this particular misconception actually goes like this - ';boy'; sperm are ';lazier'; (imagine that!) and you should have sex *after* you ovulate so the egg is already there and waiting on them. Otherwise they stop moving (since they are so lazy...) and die before the egg is released. So you're doing it wrong anyway. Plus no one, not even a fertility dr, can pinpoint exactly when ovulation occurs. However, for anyone TTC you should try to have sex as close to ovulation as possible. That's how it works...
