Would you trust the advice of someone who uses Yahoo Answers?

really would you?Would you trust the advice of someone who uses Yahoo Answers?
It depends on the person and how long they've been doing it. How trustworthy are you? That's the thing, these people are real people and most of the time they want to help. Ultimately however, that if for the questioner to decide on an individual basis, is it not? I've seen some very good answers here and met some new friends. You gotta lighten up a little, Sweety. Just use common sense.Would you trust the advice of someone who uses Yahoo Answers?
.. ';tina'; , ';dtutor';... are you kidding me?!?!? sory, but i had to go ';thumbs down '; on this one.

I think you have to measure any advice you get against your own common sense, and against what other people you know and trust might say.

As to your point, however, yes, you should treat any advice you get from Answers with appropriate suspicion.
I would try to get 3 or 4 people that agree with each other in their answers before I totally trusted it. But how do I know you are going to trust what I just said?
If the advice is sound, yes. I have taken the advice of some and it was good advice, but there are always those who give wise-crack answers, those are the ones I ignore.
I agree with all the other answers that I have read so far, except the one about ignoring the wise cracks. Those are the ones I usually get a good laugh out of.
Trusting someones advice is always hard, trusting someone you never met is even harder. I would think of it more as another way to look at a problem. Advice is not something you have to do,just a suggestion or an idea.
Often I recognise an answer to be wrong or right or no sense.

When I doubt I don't trust and I study the possibilities.
only if the answer sounds intelligent, well written, and makes sense
ofcourse,if it sounds logical to me and if it doesn't put me into trouble!!!
It's always best to confirm any answer first.

I question some of the questions. No one knows how to look anything up for them self.
wow, ur an idiot, arn't YOU useing yahoo?? my god, but ill answer the ? anywayz, NO..bcuz ppl just make up things...so...yea...
Anyone can Google-up an answer for just about any question that you will read on Yahoo Answers. But it doesn't have the human essence that I think most people want from their queries. With both, suspect of the source is appropriate.
not always because you dont know everyones personality and how they act.(for 2 points i mean.)
if the answer is reasonable and makes sense then sure why not? besides i think it goes for every question you ask anywhere else to... it just all depends on the answer you receive and your own judgment on what you should or shouldn't believe....
